We were so fortunate to have been invited to Brainy Junior Gym kindergarten to share a few health tips and tricks as well as a little bit about what doctors do.
What a pleasure it was to spend a morning with these lovable rapscallions. We were immediately taken aback by how intelligent all the children were.
With the help of Mr. Germ (none other than our co-founder, Sebastian in disguise), we were able to share the importance of hand hygiene and how to wash your hands properly to protect yourselves and your loved ones from common illness causing viruses and bacteria.
The children also had an opportunity to turn the tables on us with some hands on experience, using some of our equipment and discovering what we actually hear when we use a stethoscope.
It was as much an enlightening session for us as it was for these lovable little blighters!
But the icing on the cake was hearing that some of these children continued to practice their newly acquired hand washing skills even at home, showing us it’s never too early to start children on the right track.
We were truly honored to have been able to play a small part in shaping these brilliant minds that the future of Singapore belongs too.
